CCB: XXII meeting of Capuchins in Pastoral Ministry

CURITIBA, Brazil - 67 Capuchins in pastoral ministry, who came from the various Provinces of Brazil, had their XXII encounter as organized by the pastoral agency of the CCB. The meeting took place from April 2-8, 2008. The Province of Paraná  and Santa Caterina hosted the friars who had come for the encounter at the House of Postulancy,  Convento S. Antonio, Almirante Tamandaré  - Paraná.

 

The theme for the meeting was: Welcome and Communication. To welcome means to admit that we are all welcomed by God, who has called us to life, and that he receives each one of us with his/her gifts and with his/her fragility. Thus, our mission is to welcome our neighbor, just as God has welcomed us. To communicate means to be attentive to the signs of the times in order to perceive the presence of God who welcomes us and who communicates to us his goodness in the diverse ministries and in the reality in which we find ourselves.
