BOGOTÁ, Colombia - The provincial Curia in Bogota, Colombia, was the scene of a week- long meeting at the beginning of May on the theme of “Fleshing out the principles of a fraternal economy”. Among those attending were: Br. Luis Eduardo Rubiano, General Bursar, and the economic visitators appointed by the various circumscriptions of CONCAM, CCA and CCB. The idea was to give them some basic training for their job as visitators, thereby helping to set up administrations that are fraternal, transparent and interdependent. It was the first such meeting in Latin America. In Italy, the first meeting for economic visitators took place in Rome in 2009. Thanks to these meetings, it should be possible to implement principles of economic management inspired by our Franciscan and Capuchin ideals. |
