Analecta

Analecta Ordinis Fratrum Minorum Capuccinorum - currently in its 124th. year of publication – it was begun by Br. Bernardo da Andermatt, Minister general of the Order, in 1884. Written in collaboration with the Secretary general of the Order, Analecta, reports the official documents and other communications which have general interest or cataloguing interest for the Order, including notices of those who have died in the Order and recent publications, which have been authored by the brothers, whose content have a particular connection with the Capuchin Order. The Analecta is published 3 to 4 times a year. Until relatively recent times, it was published in Latin, actually it is multi-lingual in its totality, taking as its basis the official languages of the Order: French, English, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and German. Occasionally a particular decree or a necrology will be found still in Latin.
