CCB: Meeting of the Bursars

El SALVADOR, Bahia – The Conference of the Capuchins of Brazil (CCB) met from the 22nd to the 24th of May, 2008 for the first meeting of the Bursars. Br. Luís Eduardo Rubiano, the General Bursar, was present at the meeting as an adviser. Joining him were the provincial Ministers and their bursars as well as the general Definitor, Br. José Gislon. Br. Rubiano, developed the theme "Economy, Administration and Transparency in the Order". He put into evidence that the meeting of the bursars of the CCB is fruitful in as much as it represents a journey of reflection and deepening, and it helps them to understand that their job is a concrete service in the building up of fraternity and more concretely in the area of brotherhood in the Province and in the Order. The VI PCO stressed that a fraternal economy will transform our life and will make our houses a true school of life and economic solidarity if we follow these administrative principles: transparency, sharing, equity, solidarity, austerity and co-responsibility.
