Visit of the Minister General in Brazil

NORTHEASTERN BRAZIL - The Minister General, Br. Mauro Jöhri, arrived in Brazil on August 24th for a visit to some of the Provinces. Br. José Gislon, Definitor General for the region, accompanied him. They visited first of all the Province of Northeastern Brazil at Recife-PE. Br. Franklin Diniz, the Minister Provincial, welcomed Brothers Mauro and Gislon at the Provincial Curia.

 

In the morning of August 25th, they visited two other fraternities of Recife and the tomb of the Servant of God, Br. Damiano da Bozzano. In the afternoon, they had a meeting with those in formation and their formators. Then, in the evening they went to Caruaru-PE. On August 26th, in the morning they had a long encounter with the Brothers who are in perpetual vows and in the afternoon a reunion with the Provincial Definitory. In the evening, they took part in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the canonical establishment of the circumscription.
